Important Heirlooms: ‘Octopus and Butterfly’

This extraordinary brooch was crafted by Wilhelm Lucas von Cranach c. 1900.  “Tintenfisch und Schmetterling” (Octopus and Butterfly) currently resides at the Jewellery Museum at Pforzheim.  The pseudo nouveau / victorian piece is set with diamonds, enamel, rubies, amethysts, topaz, and three baroque pearls. Can anyone find the ‘hidden’ element?
